Working with Emily has truly changed my mindset for how to fuel my body. After working with her, rather than constantly thinking "I have to eat healthy today," I started to naturally eat healthy and clean options that tasted great without giving much thought to it, because this is what my body now craved. My body was reacted to the changes I made in a very positive way and I was able to stop thinking about it so much. Instead of reaching for something unhealthy or sugary out of desire, I started craving the healthy options and would go straight to those options, whether it was on menus or in the grocery stores. I discovered that my body didn't need sugar, caffeine or carbs to stay energized; I just needed to follow Emily's simple recommendations and trust that my body would adjust to the good habits being developed. My mood instantly became more positive and I stopped getting all of the ups and downs that occur with sugar and caffeine. Overall, this experience has done amazing things for my body, such as weight loss and much better skin, just to name a few. The long-term effects are invaluable, including more knowledge about food and nutrition, learning about my body and my relationship with my diet, and the creation of good habits. Prior to doing Emily's cleanse my diet was heavily reliant on what was delicious, but rarely nutritious. The cleanse allowed me to rediscover the nourshiment and satiation that can come from clean eating. I was nervous to start, but upon completion, I was left feeling stronger, in control of cravings, less anxious and clear-headed! Even with my busy schedule, the cleanse was easy to prepare for, and I didn't feel like I was missing out on what someone else had to eat because the food I was eating made me feel great! I lost 13 lbs, and am excited to keep up the momentum!
I have always known what I needed to do to eat healthy, but I had developed some bad habits. Emily and I worked together for several months via long distance chatting to reduce my levels of bad cholesterol without altering my weight. It was a difficult task for her I am sure! With multiple changes in my diet, eliminating foods which were not particularly healthy, and adding the right foods, I became more aware of what constituted healthier food choices. Since working with Emily, I've changed my approach to eating, and there's no going back! I now look at food as fuel to power my body. While I thought I was eating "healthy" before, Emily made me realize that "healthy" doesn't equal clean, and clean doesn't equal gross nor tasteless and will leave me full! I'm no longer worried about calories nor fat but instead, making sure what I'm eating is whole, minimally processed, and if I can pronounce all of the ingredients. The junk that people bring into the office doesn't tempt me anymore because I know I won't feel good if I eat it!
My husband and I did Emily’s cleanse. We walked into it knowing that it would be difficult; it was, but totally doable. We eat a lot of veggies so the first four days were pretty simple. We had a few naughty cravings but with some of the snack ideas that Emily provides, they passed. By day four, my husband and I both noticed that we felt great and our skin had begun to glow. Days 5-7, the broth phase, were the toughest for us. As long as you keep your mind focused and don’t watch too much TV (the commercials are killer) you will make it through it. At the end of the cleanse you feel awesome! You feel like you can conquer the world! We both lost about 10 pounds. My husband who has heartburn constantly hadn’t had heartburn since before the cleanse. All around you just feel good. We have incorporated a lot from the cleanse into our daily life and totally recommend this cleanse to anybody who just wants to feel good, lighter, and cleaner!

I have done Emily’s cleanse several times and every time I learn something new about myself and how food makes me feel. I look forward to the feeling I get once I complete a cleanse. Emily’s cleanse was one of the best things I’ve done for myself. After the cleanse I felt strong and energetic. I have been seeing Emily regularly for over a year and it has been the best decision I have made for myself in a long time. Emily’s program was a freeing and educative process.
